This was an insurance claim due to fire damage to an old stone garage that stood next to an ancient monument.
The first job was to demolish any of the existing structure whilst preserving as much of the existing stonework as possible. Using the existing foundations the garage was rebuilt using modern concrete blocks for the inner skin, and existing and reclaimed stone used for the outer skin. With reclaimed slate, ridge tiles and coping stones used for the roof, a new WC was constructed and two sets of be
This was an insurance claim, a large section of the garden wall had been blown over during a storm. This was adjacent to a public carpark so special health & safety measures had to be put in place.
Having dug new concrete foundations containing steel rebar. The wall was then rebuilt using a bespoke brick to match the existing walls. This was then tied into the existing brickwork using Helibar with debonding sleeves to allow for expansion. A section or the garden was then returfed.
This was an insurance claim on an old 5 bedroom property that had suffered from a burst pipe in the loft that had gone unnoticed for weeks. The ceiling in this room had partial water damage, this was a lath and plaster ceiling over an original ceiling. There was wallpaper on the walls that had also been affected.
The property was not listed so we patched the ceiling using plasterboard of varying thickness and then seamlessly skimming to blend the new into the existing. The walls were in a poor state but by using the thickest grade lining paper an exceptionally flat surface was achieved. Having repaired the existing coving the whole room was painted using a Farrow & Ball colour mix. I think you will agree a

Apart from the odd existing chipped tile, you can see with the ridge tiles taken off and rebedded an excellent result was achieved.
This was an insurance claim, the outside sheds needed to be repaired due to damage caused by a falling tree during a storm. The roof had tested positive for Asbestos.
The first job was the removal of the Asbestos roof by a specialist contractor. We then stabilised the movement and the cracks to the side of the building by using Helibar, replacing the damaged bricks and repointing. Having replaced the roof timbers, roofing sheets, guttering, and new timber front window, the policy holder wanted to keep the existing doors and door frames. These were refurbished a
This was an insurance claim due to Fire damage. The scope required the removal of the soot and the sealing of the brickwork. Taking down the remaining damaged front brickwork and a section of the inner skin to the rear party wall, the footings then needed to be dugout and re-laid as the existing did not meet current building regulations.
The scope required the rebuilding of the demolished outbuildings and the tying in of the new brickwork into any existing structure. New roof timbers, tiles, soffits, facias and guttering were installed, new windows and doors fitted along with electric sensor lighting throughout. The ceilings were then plaster boarded, skimmed and the walls ply lined and new skirting boards laid. All the floors wer
This was an insurance claim due to storm damage that lifted roof slates and demolished one of the chimney stacks to the main roof, which resulted in the whole roof needing to be replaced along with the rebuilding of the chimney stack.
The first job was to remove all the debris, old roofing slates, battens and felt. Make good any damaged roof timbers and replace where necessary. Renew the felt, battens, and rebuild the chimney stack in keeping with the existing chimney stacks. Secure or replace any loose or damaged bricks, stonework and lead flashing.
